Time Magazine and the mass media continues to drum up hysteria over our weather - or as they call it "climate." Now they've taken an immortalized photo from WWII and photoshopped (altered) it into something childish.

Here come the Global Warming taxes. Now that we are approaching mid-April and we haven't had a 70 degree day yet this year in central Minnesota it is interesting to see the Global Warming alarmists dropping that term and start using "climate change" instead.

The Morrison County DFL Chair has provided another key to the Quiz that I offered last week about the state transportation bill. If you read through the "new" answer key you find that nothing about what I stated was corrected. Instead, you are given rationale and spin for why the answers are what they are. The writer asks that you re-read what I wrote. I encourage you to do the same, and then compare that to the "new" answer key. My answers stand. Oh, he did catch a typo. I numbered two paragraphs as "4", but I will take correct substance over a simple typo anyday.

The story was buried on page B4, but at least we have some data to work with, which we have not had until the past few years. This should be a wake-up call to everyone.

We need to set the record straight about the Transportation Bill that was recently passed by the DFL-controlled Minnesota Legislature. The Morrison County Record has carried Letters to the Editor in recent weeks that try to spin the Gas Tax increase as a good thing for Minnesotans. This article addresses some of the "inaccuracies" contained in those letters.
