It appears Democrats are going to try and make a remark Senator John McCain said about Iraq a key part of their strategy to defeat him in November. Senator McCain said the U.S. may have a presence in Iraq for possibly 100 years. Democrats have translated that into "The U.S. will be at war in Iraq for 100 years." Democrats have confused presence with war. We have had a presence in Germany for 63 years following the end of WWII. We haven't been at war in Germany during that time. There is a difference in the point being made. Columnist Charles Krauthammer analyzes what Sen. McCain said and how the Democrats hope to use it.

Hillary Clinton has been telling a story in recent weeks about her harrowing arrival in Bosnia 12 years ago. Under fire while dashing to waiting vehicles that were to take her away from the carnage, the horror. Just one problem. It didn't happen. See for yourself as CBS News had a crew on hand to capture Mrs. Clinton's arrival in Tuzla -- and she thinks she could be President. Now her campaign claims she "misspoke." Do you think so? Where exactly is the line between misspeaking and outright lying?

Here we go! The Federal Government is rushing to the rescue of Investment Banks! America's taxpayers are about to get stuck with bailing out the companies that ran the biggest risks associated with holding bad mortgages. The argument for the bailouts? It will be worse if we wait. I would ask, worse for whom? Those who took risks, made big profits, and now are losing? Please explain again why America's taxpayers began bailing out gamblers.

Hillary Clinton offered the following today regarding uncertainty in the financial markets: "Now we are in the soup and we better get ourselves out of it before the consequences get drastic," Democratic presidential contender Hillary Rodham Clinton told reporters. Okay Mrs. Clinton. Let's hear it. What would you do differently with the current circumstances in our financial markets?

It is interesting to see Democrats filling the Internet Blogs with postings arguing why Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama can't and shouldn't be the next President. Let's hope they continue. Typically, their venom is aimed at Republicans.

Race has entered the Presidential campaign and it was Democrats who did it. Barack Obama's pastor of 20 years is on record as having said some shocking, disgusting things about the United States, and now Obama has asked the pastor to leave his campaign claiming he would have quit his church if he had known the pastor had been saying these things. Twenty years and didn't know? The video was on a "Best of Rev. Wright" DVD.

New York Governor Eliot Spitzer has placed himself in a position where he must resign. What isn't receiving much attention is that Spitzer is a Democrat "Super Delegate" who pledged himself to back Hillary Clinton. Will Clinton stand by her man, again, or will she call for Spitzer to step down and in the process possibly give up a "Super Delegate." Pass the popcorn.

Congratulation Senator John McCain! With easy wins Tuesday in Texas, Ohio, Vermont, and Rhode Island, the Arizona Senator has secured the 1,191 delegates he needs to be the Republican Candidate for President. Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee withdrew from the race after Tuesday's results. Senator McCain won't formally become the nominee until the GOP National Convention in September. In the interim he can now concentrate on preparing for the General Election campaign in the fall.

Gloria Steinem showed complete disrespect for John McCain's war hero status Sunday. She said being a POW is overrated. It's pretty disgusting.
