Do you remember about 20 years ago when Communism collapsed in Eastern Europe there were predictions that the break up of the Soviet Union was going to lead to a 20 year depression in that part of the world? Well, now 20 years have passed and we're hearing about Russian analysts making similar predictions about the United States and the future of capitalism. In fact, one analyst is saying the U.S. is going to break into six parts and that it's time to end Russia's "lease" of Alaska to the United States and to reclaim it.

It is amazing to watch the headlines in the papers saying Hillary Clinton is ready to accept the Secretary of State's job in the Obama Administration. A couple of problems with her acceptance is; 1) The Obama transition team hasn't even acknowledged that an offer has been made to Hillary, much less an acceptance by her; and 2) All of the information on "Hillary's selection" is coming from Clinton "confidants." Dick Morris decipher's Hillary's march to the Secretary of State's job.

The credit rating of the United States is in jeopardy now that the federal government has agreed to bail out any industry that says it needs bailing out. The "AAA" rating of government securities will surely decline after we have acquired trillions of dollars in debt in just the past month. If we were to do what our government has done our credit score would be zero.

NO! NO! NO! Will someone please stop the madness that is occurring before our eyes? Our federal government, already deeply in debt, is passing out shovels and demanding that we dig deeper and faster. Today the Treasury Secretary announced that he was changing the purpose of the $700 Billion "bailout" money to help people with credit card, auto loan, and student loan debt.

Barack Obama is vowing to change the world! That would be quite a first achievement considering he hasn't had any notable achievements as a State or U.S. Senator. He couldn't even change his pastor. Mr. Obama had no idea that while he attended his church for 20 years in Chicago that his pastor was a raving racist. Or, did he know and he just didn't do anything about it?
