Here's how Minnesota Representatives voted on the Wall Street Bailout bill.

    (9/29/08)
There's much consternation in Washington, D.C. over the defeat of the Wall Street Bailout bill that was crafted over the weekend. The bill was defeated today 228-205. The bill went down to defeat after Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi decided to use her floor speech to deride President Bush.

Many of our elected officials are working during the weekend to give away our money. Maybe I should re-phrase that. They are working on promising Wall Street firms that they will eventually take away our money to prop up the Wall Street firms that engaged in unsound lending practices in recent years. Their message is clear: "Give us your money or else!" It sounds like a hold up.

Columinst Tony Blankley has some questions for those professional questioners in the national media. Basically it comes down to when will Barack Obama receive the scrutiny that Sarah Palin has received? Talk about a one-sided inquisition.

Al Gore is at it again. Now that he has a Nobel "Peace" Prize, Gore feels compelled to be a "community agitator."

Remember a few weeks ago when Barack Obama accepted the Democratic nomination for President in a packed stadium in Denver and all the coverage he received? Alaska Governor Sarah Palin drew an estimated 60,000 people during a campaign event in Florida over the weekend. Have you seen her coverage?

Thousands of Minnesotans greeted Senator John McCain and Alaska Governor Sarah Palin in Blaine yesterday. Minnesota is a battleground state as current polls (if they are to be believed) show the campaign for the White House is within the margin of error of those polls - in effect, a tie. We need to talk to our friends and neighbors and encourage them to vote for our candidates in November. Here are some photos from Friday's rally in Blaine.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada) has shown, once again, how not to be a leader. He said yesterday, regarding the mess on Wall Street, "no one knows what to do." He is the same Senator who declared the Iraq War lost in April 2007.

Should anything be done about a college professor who gave an assignment to students that directed them to write an essay critical of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin? The professor has since "revised" the assignment.

The McCain-Palin campaign is coming to Minnesota this Friday. Here are the details.

Globalarmists have been given the green light to damage property if they believe it will help alleviate "Global Warming." Here's the story.

Will politicians say anything to get elected? Unfortunately, yes. Rod Grams and James Carter in their commentary illustrate the problem.

    (9/12/08)
Today on "The View" Whoopi Goldberg posed a question to John McCain that hasn't come up this election cycle. Should she expect a return to slavery if McCain is elected? How utterly stupid of a question is that? And there sat Barbara Walters next to Whoopi and somehow understood what Goldberg was getting at. Credit John McCain for not walking off the set.

What? We're entering a period of global cooling? That's what the Farmer's Almanac is predicting.

Pat Buchanan analyzes why the Main Stream Media has gone ballistic over Sarah Palin. It boils down to what she stands for -- she stands for something!

Governor Pawlenty says Barack Obama is not fit to be President.

    (9/4/08)
Alaska Governor Sarah Palin was spectaculor in her speech before the Republican National Convention last night. Palin, Senator John McCain's choice for Vice President, wowed the crowd with her charming demeanor and down-to-earth and common sense remarks. She was poised and delivered one of the most hard-hitting speeches we have heard this year. She connected with conservatives and her remarks resonated. We need to elect this team.

Here's a new situation to attribute to Global Warming. The Sun didn't have any sunspots last month. Get this, it might impact Earth's climate. That can't be true because only man-made things affect Earth's climate, as we're told repeatedly by Globalarmists.

The left-wing wackos in this country have no shame whatsoever. Every time you want to give them the benefit of the doubt they do or say something that disgusts everyone. Here's what I'm talking about. (8/29/08)
Congratulations Senator McCain for picking an outstanding American to be your running mate in this year's election for President. Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is a superb, visionary choice. Thank you Sen. McCain for choosing a mom with five children. She is a very special mom. She can be called a hockey mom. She's into sports, hunting, and snowmobiling. She's just a tremendous young woman and a brilliant choice for Vice President. Let's get this team elected!
